Hi, I'm Alison
People sometimes ask how I found my way into permanent cosmetics. For me, it grew naturally out of a lifelong relationship with art, long before working with pigment or machines. Years spent studying form, balance, and fine detail shaped how I see faces and how small changes can influence confidence and comfort.
I’ve always believed beauty isn’t something added on, but something already present. Moonlit PMU was built around that idea, approaching each face with respect for its individuality and story. My work focuses on subtle, considered enhancement, allowing what’s already there to feel more settled, balanced, and aligned.
Outside of permanent makeup, my creative work extends into photography and modeling, where I continue to study storytelling, composition, and visual expression from both sides of the lens. When I’m not working, I spend time traveling, skiing in the mountains, or at home with my two dogs. These experiences keep me grounded and observant, and they quietly shape how I notice detail, movement, and individuality.
